SmallRig 4947 Basic Cage Kit for Canon C400

This Basic Cage Kit from SmallRig outfits you with several lightweight aluminum components to customize your Canon EOS C400 rig configuration to best suit your production. A full camera cage consisting of multiple modular pieces protects your camera while offering 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads for accessory configuration. A top plate, dual side plates, cheese-style backplate, baseplate, top handle extension, sun hood, and handle locking knob are all included in the kit.

Modular Camera Cage
One top plate and two side plates make up the camera cage for the C400. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with anti-twist pins support articulating arms, cable clamps, and other accessory mounting.

 

Other mounting options include a QD socket, an ARRI-style rosette with an M6 center thread, and a NATO rail. The top handle extension provides additional mounting threads on your C400 top handle.

Baseplate
The baseplate is compatible with ARRI-style dovetail plates and bridge plate BP-8 for compatibility with various tripod systems.
Backplates
A cheese-style plate mounts onto the back of the camera and provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads for additional accessories. The V-lock backplate can mount onto the cheese-style plate and allows you to mount your V-mount battery to power your camera and accessories.
Sun Hood
A sun hood is included for the LCD on the C400. It quickly installs around the display and protects from glare and bright sunlight for a clear view.
